Home Repair Network Limited (HRNL) and Tetra Working At Height are joining forces to ensure safe methods of access and working for Roofers across the UK. The expansion of a joint initiative between the two organisations will provide HRNL approved local Roofing Contractors with the Tetra Systems Safety Harness solution, the safest method of ladder use while undertaking short duration roofing repairs.
HRNL Managing Director Ian Hogarth commented, “Short duration roofing repairs account for the majority of Storm peril claims we currently manage for UK insurers and third party claims managers. This initiative with Tetra, significantly reduces the time to commence repairs to a Home Owners property if the claim is authorised. The Roofer will have the necessary safety equipment with them, allowing repairs in many cases to be started on the first visit to site.”
Tetra Systems are British made, in alignment with the HSE ladder guidance and a fall protection system. They are currently the only safety harness equipment to have met the HSE Construction P.I. Test Criteria for Ladder Systems & Flat Roof System.
As part of the joint initiative, HRNL is investing in purchasing the safety system and the cost of the associated training courses for its local Roofing Contractor Tradespersons and Contractors to enable a full UK rollout across its network.
