Ian formed HRNL with Alan Horton in June 2016 after identifying an opportunity for locally based, trade specialists to manage less complex property claims. Ian has 20+ years’ experience of working in the UK and US Property claims industry for a number of leading third-party suppliers.

Ian is a driven individual who is constantly looking for ways to further improve the business or bring relevant, new initiatives to the market. He is passionate about delivering excellent Customer service and fairness to all parties involved in a claim, Insurer, Customer and Contractors.

Alan Horton

Alan Horton

Alan has over 25 years experience in the business services sector in both listed and private companies including private equity backed businesses. He has led businesses with sales of £100m+ and was formerly CEO of Evander Group following the management buyout from Homeserve plc. He currently holds a number of Chairman and Non Executive Director roles including Independent Group, B38 Group, eSales Hub and bSure.

Tolga Tari

Tolga Tari

Tolga Tari is a multifaceted serial entrepreneur, investor and business owner with business interests in a wide range of Industries and markets in the USA, CA, UK and Europe. Tolga has founded, co-founded, invested in and sold several successful businesses from ground up, holding the positions of chairman, CEO, CTO while serving on multiple company boards.

After graduating as a bachelor of science majoring in finance, marketing and computer science and during his earlier career, Tolga has worked in financial services and has spent considerable time in hospitality and technology markets which led to him founding and making investments in technology companies, hospitality companies and real estate.

In addition to being a board director and investor in HRNL, Tolga also oversees the use of IT to ensure the latest technological advances are utilised by HRNL, optimising operational efficiencies and opportunities within the business.

Katherine Draycott

Katherine heads up the internal functions of HRNL as our Head of Internal Operations. She has over 18 years’ experience of working in the UK Insurance Building Repair Industry Katherine, holding previous roles in claims, client relationship, operational leadership & people management.

Responsible for Operational Strategy & Performance, Training & Development and Process Enhancement , Katherine delivers through strong, successful and engaging leadership with a firm dedication to people development and delivery of excellent customer service.

There is very little spare time in Katherine’s world, with a young family to look after, coupled with a packed social calendar – Katherine is the busiest person in HRNL for sure.

Andy Osborne

Andy Osborne

Andy is our Technical and Operational Development Manager with over 20 years experience of working within the UK insurance building repair industry. He has held previous roles as a Surveyor, Network Manager and Operations Manager, providing him with a broad Industry knowledge and experience. 

Andy’s role within HRNL is to identify new and innovative ways to deliver process efficiencies through the development of our systems and applications.

In his spare time Andy is part of a local band.  When not playing a guitar or singing a song, you will probably find him watching his favourite American Football team, Washington Redskins

Paul Martin

Paul Martin

Paul is the Technical Manager for HRNL, looking after the Technical Buildings knowledge training and development of our staff and Contractors. He also provides support to our Claims teams to ensure fair claims decisions are consistently delivered for our clients and their customers.

Paul has over 35 years experience of working within the UK Construction industry, including the setting up and running of his own business.

Sam Holland

Sam Holland

Sam is our National Network Manager and looks after the HRNL Trade Networks liaising with all contractors and working closely with our Health & Safety Advisor.

Sam has worked in the insurance building repair industry for over 20 years, with previous roles in Network management and Operational support functions..  Sam also provides managerial support within the internal operation.

Her responsibilities at HRNL are to support our Network Contractors to ensure they are constantly delivering a high level of customer service. Precure new contractors to ensure HRNL have full network coverage across the UK and compliance with all current Health & Safety Directives.

A total equestrian, any spare time is spent with her daughter competing in competitions across the UK, she also holds a keen interest in horse racing and loves to swim.
